Un brano sulla crisi delle istituzioni costituisce l’esordio del Duo “NoCompromise”, che unisce due artisti di origini molto lontane, Fabio Dardi e Maksym Marchenko, ma con la stessa necessità di comporre musica per resistere alla soppressione nichilistica della creatività.
Se i valori dominanti sono l’utilità pratica, il fare solo per proteggersi dalla minaccia del futuro, supplire alla mancanza di senso con il denaro, i due decidono di fare qualcosa di “inutile”: comporre musica.
Dopo aver scritto musica per tanti anni parlando di relazioni ed esperienze compare ora un brano che riflette sulla necessità di senso sociale oltre che individuale ed è un richiamo alle istituzioni per cercare di riacquisire i valori di utilità collettiva per cui sono state create.

utilitarian defense that
protects against fear of tomorrow
Education: “first: respect!
We must desire all the chances!”…
without passions we make sense
of the holy capital
State: don’t you have to protect us?
Church: don’t you have to make sense of us?
Home: shouldn’t you give us an ethics?
Society: don’t you have to set us free?
Days are spent in fear:
the only sense of acting now
art and music above all
are unnecessary distractions
Everything flows fast
but in our hearts all things are still
sharks are awarded but we need
the freedom to be unique and fragile.
